2021.11.05 (v.2.9)

Added:

* Several major and minor new sections U/C

2020.10.25 (v.2.8)

Added:

* Several major and minor new sections U/C

2019.04,29 (v.2.7)

Added:

* Ankara-Sivas HSL (467km):  The initially envisaged city terminal in Sivas has been dropped in favour of a new through station in the southern suburbs. Approx. 2km of already build alignment has been removed, including a 500m long river viaduct. Initial provisions for a continuation towards Erzican in the east are being carried out.
* The last missing tunnels of Istanbul - Ankara HSL of the Sakarya cut-off are eventually under construction.
* After a rather slow start, works on (Ankara)-Yenice-Izmir HSL seem to finally take up velocity. The line is under construction on approx. 2/3 of its length, including passing a demanding mountain ridge with tunnels and ramps whose works started recently.
* Only little progress can be observed along the 106km Osmaneli - Bursa HSL,  whose works were launched in 2012. While a 40km stretch including approx. 15km of tunnels north and east of Bursa is now entirely under construction, the remaining gap seems not to have started yet.

* Several major and minor new sections U/C

2018.08.31 (v.2.6)

2017.09.17 (v.2.5)

* New worksites have appeared along approx. 30 km on Polatli - Afyonkaharisar high speed railway line.
* 25 km Izmir east railway approach. Built around 2008, might be continued further into city?
* Further shorther segments on HSL lines: High bridges east of Kirikkale on Ankara - Shivas HSL.

2015.12.05 (v.2.3)

Added:
* Kayseri bypass: "Lonely" section (21km) of a future high speed line in central Anatolia [Jump to lonely HSL near Kayseri].

Corrected:
* Collapsed tunnel bypass: To mitigate several years (since +/-2009) of failure to complete a 7,2km tunnel along the Ankara - Istanbul corridor near Bilecik [Jump to collapsed tunnel craters], starting from 2012 a single track bypass line has been built. It includes a 2,3km long tunnel which entered service around 2014 enabling the usage of the otherwise isolated high speed line segment of around 65km [Jump to bypass line].

* Temporary switch-over from high speed line to classic line at the current nothern end of the HSL mentioned right above near Aifuatpasa [Jump to current end of HSL line].
